I saw this recipe on Grilling Companion. Of course our grill was out of fuel, so I did a baked version instead and it turned out spectacular. I had full attention from Ruby and Layla (our dogs) the entire FIVE minutes it took for me to prep the meat and pop it in the oven. This is a great meal if you are short on time or would prefer to spend the evening relaxing, instead of running around the kitchen. We caramelized some onions and sauteed up some yellow squash and zucchini to go with the chicken. Absolutely delicious!
It might be an understatement to say that this is the favorite meal in my house. I am asked to make this for just about every special event. It makes about 8 servings, just enough for dinner with guests and lunch the next day.
If you’re looking for an entree packed with flavor, yet super easy top make, look no further, “Little Buddies” have come to the rescue. For some reason this dish has been personified, gaining the nick name of “Little Buddies” in my household—I’m guessing it’s because of it’s dependability? This recipe can be eaten during weeks 1-6 of the detox diet.
