Every morning I enjoy a little creative juicing experiment. This is my cantaloupe experiment. Turns out cantaloupe makes a very smooth + creamy juice! I think it’s wise to switch up what you’re taking into your body so that you don’t not find that your diet consists of solely chicken, rice and beans…or something like that.
Easy-peasy morning beverage.
In a blender, combine:
6 frozen strawberries
Small bag of frozen organic blueberries
Fill blender 1/2 way up with So Delicious coconut milk (not flavored)
I love beets. When I first saw the Cherry Beet Detox Smoothie from the Whole Life Nutrition Kitchen, I knew I had to try my hand at it. A glass of wine into the evening, I trotted off to the store and began my “happy” shopping spree through the Harmon’s produce section, picking up nearly everything I could get my hands on. This smoothie turned into a task of throwing goodies into the juicer until I reached my full juicing capacity. I was able to easily bottle the juice and save for the morning (just give it a good shake before serving).
